Ranchi - City of Water Falls

Ranchi is the capital of the Indian state of Jharkhand, and now it is the most populous city of the state. The city has a moderate climate and was the summer capital of Bihar until Jharkhand was separated in the year 2000. It is popularly known as a “City of Waterfalls”.

This city has some amazing tourist attractions to explore that are:

Patratu Valley: A picturesque valley locate around 40km from Ranchi, it is known for its beautiful greenery and black road that makes for a stunning combination.
Dassam Falls: Located around 40km from Ranchi, this waterfall is a popular tourist spot and its known for its scenic beauty.
Yogado Satsanga Society of India-Ranchi Ashram: A peaceful and serene ashram that is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
Maa Dewri Mandir: A 700-year-old temple that is still in good condition and is known for its beautiful idol of goddess Durga.
Jagannath Mandir: A popular religious site that is dedicated to Lord Jagannath.
Jonha Falls: A beautiful waterfall located around 40km from Ranchi that is surrounded by dense forests.
Pahari Mandir: A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva that offers a bird’s eye view of Ranchi city from the top of the hill.
Birsa Zoological Park: A nature park and zoo that houses several species of animals and birds.
