MARINE TO ALPINE PRIVATE LIMITED or their representatives’ act as coordinator / agents for hotels, transportation companies and others service providers like transportation, vehicles or accommodations or other related services while exercising the finest possible services and care.

 

MARINE TO ALPINE PRIVATE LIMITED or their agents shall not be liable or responsible for irregularity, loss, injury, damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation, trekking or other services resulting directly or indirectly for nature’s act or acts of government machinery breakdown or fire, civil disturbances, strikes, thefts, etc. Neither are we responsible for any damage of equipment, cancellations of changes in schedules beyond our control. MARINE TO ALPINE PRIVATE LIMITED and their associates do not accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in plans caused in such cases. We are not responsible for tour cancellation due to Force Majeure clause (Expenses / Cancellations incurred due to mishaps, landslide, strikes, political unrest etc.) Additional expenses incurred due to Force Majeure Clause shall be borne by the guest/clients on actual. Guest/clients should have to pay in actual in such cases though we try our level best to help our guest and advice accordingly and extend all possible help.

 

Booking of Packages / Hotel Rooms / Vehicle - All bookings are subjected to advance deposit of Fifty per cent (50 %) of the tour cost if booked more than three month in advance and will be confirmed in writing upon receiving your request over email or through online system presented by MARINE TO ALPINE PRIVATE LIMITED and are non - refundable on all late bookings. Full payment (Package or Component) is due immediately on confirmation. Booking within 15 days before the commencement of the tour requires full payment. In case of component booking like Vehicle, Hotel room, Transfer and some of the packages will require full payment at the time of reservation i.e. prior to confirmation. The Quotation is valid 15 days from the date of issue unless specified otherwise in the mail.

Child Policy

  • Child Below 5 yrs. complimentary (maximum 1 child of a couple)
  • Child 5 -10 yrs. without extra bed as mention in cost column (CNB = Child no Bed)
  • Child 5 -10 yrs. with extra bed as mention in cost column (CWB = Child with Bed)
  • Above 10 years / Extra adult with an extra bed sharing room are same & charged as per (EPSR)
  • Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.

About Vehicle

  • We provide exclusive vehicles in our packages.
  • Tata Indica / Hyundai Santro / Maruti Wagno R / Maruti Alto / Hatchback are used for 1-3 guests/clients maximum including child. In case the number of heads travelling increases, than the guest/client will have to take another vehicle.
  • Tata Sumo / Mahindra Max / Hard top Jeeps are used for 4-8 guests/clients maximum including child. In case the number of heads travelling increases, than the guest/client will have to take another vehicle.
  • Toyota Innova / Mahindra Scorpio / Mahindra Xylo / Chevrolet Tavera are used for 6 guests/clients maximum including child. In case the number of heads travelling increases, than the guest/client will have to take another vehicle.
  • Maruti Swift Dzire / Sedan vehicles are used for 1-4 guests/clients including child. In case the number of heads travelling increases, than the guest/client will have to take another vehicle.
  • Incase the guest is opting for Toyota Innova / Mahindra Xylo / Mahindra Scorpio then the guest has to travel light with minimum baggage. In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this will have to be borne by guest/client directly.

About Hotel

  • Check-in 13:00 hrs. / Check-out time is 11:00 hrs (Generally). Although it depends upon your choice of locations. Better to check with Marine To Alpine Private Limited in mail to get updated about the check in and check out time.
  • The tourism infrastructure in all places is may not be similar. Hence quality of property/hotel along with service quality can vary
  • There might be scarcity of water and power in the different locations/regions and so guest/clients might come across situation like water (hot) being supplied on time basis – morning & evening.
  • Room Heater available with an extra cost to be borne by the guest directly (Except if it is not clearly mentioned in ‘Package Includes’)
  • Category of Rooms in the packages normally are the base rooms in the selected hotel (if clearly not mentioned otherwise)
  • Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.
  • A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
  • For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll out bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.
  • Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
  • Cleanliness of the rooms, linen, toilet are subject of hotels/resorts/homestays. Marine To Alpine Pvt Ltd work as a mediator between the guests and the hotels. For any inconvenience regarding hotel linen, cleanliness, lighting – guests are requested to inform the hotel directly.
  • In some areas throughout India, Nepal and Bhutan the hotels do not have lift facility and all the guests/clients will have to climb stairs. In case if any guest is having problem of blood pressure, knee or other ailment for which they cannot climb the higher floors they will have to intimate us during the time of booking so that we can arrange rooms at the lowest floor possible of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the minimum number of stairs possible.

About Transport

  • The guest should always keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.
  • As there is shortage of space for car parking in the entire Sikkim & Darjeeling region – guest will have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing / transfers.
  • We would appreciate if guests/clients can get in touch with Marine To Alpine Private Limited team for any clarification instead of drivers, porters or any third party
  • On arrival of guests we will provide mineral water, small kits, local tour cocoordinator number & service voucher. Our representative/driver will brief the total tour itinerary to the guest.
  • As most of the services are on point to point basis, it is obvious that the drivers would also keep changing in some tourist circuits. Keeping this in mind please ensure that you do not leave your belongings in the vehicle as there is very little possibility of getting them back. Always check your baggage before leaving the vehicle.
  • If any tourist spot cannot be covered on the designated day & if they wants to do the same on next day then they have to pay the extra cost for the vehicle.
  • If guests want any changes in their sightseeing schedule they should be informed to our executive previous day before 16:00 hrs, after that no changes are allowed. If the guest inform after 16:00 hrs it will be consider as a cancellation with no refund or guest will pay extra cost for reschedule the sightseeing.
  • Guests are informed to maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers which will advisable by our executive.
  • In many places throughout India, Nepal and Bhutan vehicles are not allowed to park in front of the hotel. In that case guest must have to arrange their own to reach at the parking stand.
  • Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
