The World’s biggest EDM festival, “Tomorrowland” all set to arrive in Thailand

Tomorrowland is now all set to stage in Asia for the first time, with Confetti, colours, techno beats, zealous crowd and a sky full of stars. Inspired by Belgium’s famous music festival, the world’s biggest electronic dance and music (EDM) festival will take place in Thailand and China.

First unfolding on 22^nd November 2025, with a magical night in Shanghai, China. "The Magic of Tomorrowland" is the first-ever indoor show of the Tomorrowland experience, “where music, light, and imagination merge beneath one roof” at the Hero Dome, located along Shanghai’s stunning Bund waterfront. This one-night-only edition promises stunning stage designs by some of the world’s most celebrated DJs and global artists.

While the line-up is yet to be revealed, tickets for this reimagined EDM experience are set to go live in September 2025.

And, the full-fledged experience of Tomorrowland will debut in Chonburi, Thailand, in December 2026. Themed villages, VIP packages, multiple stages, and a global artist lineup, based on Belgium’s signature immersive format; the festival aims to flawlessly fuse in Thai culture, local music, and regional flair. This milestone highlights Thai culture globally and boosts its tourism.

Chonburi Province, located near Bangkok is a seaside town and in proximity to several international airports, making it easily accessible for travellers. Nestled along the Gulf of Thailand, it offers pristine beaches, street food, rich local traditions, and all nature's serenity at its peak.

The overall investment for this event is expected to reach several billion baht, as per the report by an online national daily in Thailand. And this is expected to be a five-year contract at the least, with an average annual budget of around US$10 million, according to Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

This move by the Tomorrowland Foundation also brings fore the idea of Shifting travelscape across the globe. This expansion of Tomorrowland into Southeast Asia will greatly enhance to the already rising travel and tourism sector in the region.
