The gorgeous Havelock Island is the most astonishing of the Andaman Islands, famous for scuba diving and snorkelling and other adventure activities for the tourists to enjoy and explore in the Bay of Bengal. A holidaymakers pleasure to spend quality and refreshing time with family and friends, even an ideal destination for Honeymooners to plan an itinerary in the most natural paradise with beautiful white sandy beaches, rich coral reefs and lush green forest of Havelock Island. The place is located 39 km north east of Port Blair, capital of Andaman and Nicobar. Among the most notable beaches comprises of Radhanagar Beach – highly rated and beautiful, silky white sand backed by a forest that provides welcome shade looks out over turquoise water. Elephant Beach’s coral is probably the best on the island, making this an excellent spot for snorkelling and finally you have the Kalapathar Beach to relax and refresh your mind and soul in Havelock Island in Andaman. Scuba diving is the main activity on Havelock Island other than chilling out, lying on the beaches or hammocks and eating seafood. Apart from the refreshing ambience and popular engaging activities you can also take a sea walk along the beaches of Havelock Island.
The place has got lovely luxury hotels and resorts to retire with fresh coconut milk and succulent and fresh seafood, which dominates every meal. Accommodation of varied budgets are available in the island, however the tariffs are on the higher side during peak tourist season. All round the year you can visit the place, but November to February is the best time to visit with moderate winters and temperatures to experience the beaches and water sports.
