Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi, Vietnam is an impressive structure made of granite and red marble which serves as the tomb of Ho Chi Minh, also known as Uncle Ho by some Vietnamese. It is a large building occupying the central position of the large square known as Ba Dinh. Mausoleum can be unveiled to the public on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, and it's free of cost. These hours vary slightly depending on whether it is summer or winter. Talking, photographing, bringing a bag with you, eating, and keeping your hands in your pockets is not permitted while you're inside the mausoleum. You must cover shoulders and knees, take off headgear, and expect to walk around in respectful silence. Armed guards ensure that the highest level of respect is accorded to the late president, Ho Chi. All these monuments are scattered hither and yon across the big plaza with its neatly trimmed lawns, plants and flower beds. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum sits in the centre of Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh once oversaw rallies. One can reach by private car or public buses, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a masterpiece, reflecting the Vietnamese people's deep sentiment towards their leader. Ho Chi Minh Tomb is not just a cultural and historical icon of Hanoi but also draws many tourists to visit. Since it opened in 1975, numerous generations of Vietnamese people and millions of overseas guests have visited this site. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum has a room that is draped with marble inside. where, President Ho Chi Minh's body lies in a glass case, on a bed which rests on a stone pedestal. There are always 4 soldiers present in the room.
