Hon Thom Cable Car

The Hon Thom Cable Car, which opened in February 2018, is the world's longest cable car, reaching 7,899.9 meters in length. It is on the island of Phu Quoc, which is in the south of Vietnam, just on the border with Cambodia, and from the town of An Thoi to the island of Hon Thom. The ride takes 15 minutes long, 8.5 meters per second speed, and allows visitors to see one of the most stunning views capes in all of Southeast Asia. The cable car is supported by 160-meter-high pylons which stand on the two surrounding islands of Hon Dua and Hon Roi. Both have a double supporting rope carrying 70 comfortable cabins, 30 people can seat. The Hon Thom cable car will transport guests on an adventurous ride of air excursions to capture 360 degrees of Nam Phu Quoc's beauty. Tourists can explore the white sand beach and crystal water by the virgin old forest while looking down to the cable car. A lot of new sea activities and games are on the drawing board at Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park, such as parachute scissors, banana buoys, coral diving, seabed walking, and kayaking. This design guarantees to ensure stable and smooth cabin operation free from any kind of shaking that can make passengers uncomfortable and unable to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the journey. It has one more name that is "Mediterranean Town" of Phu Quoc. The site is one of the popular check-in locations. The complex is a site that mimics world-famous sites, including Arc de Triomphe, Pompeii Ruins, the Colosseum, etc. All render it hard for tourists to tell the difference from the original. You may travel the Mekong Delta area of Vietnam by car or motorbike rental, bus, private boat hire or group tour, bicycle or taxi.
