Shillong the capital of Meghalaya is famously known as the Scotland of the east is one of the most popular tourist destination of the North East. To Reach

The best way to reach Shillong is from Guwahati which takes about 2 and half hours by road lovely scenic uphill drive through lush green mountains, approximately 105 kms.  Guwahati has accessed to Rail and Air with trains and flights operating from major cities and towns from the country regularly. Shillong also has a airport which is known as Umroi Airport but direct flight to this airport is irregular.
