Chhota Mangwa

Chhota Mangwa is very near to Bara Mangwa in Teesta Valley of Darjeeling district in West Bengal. Chhota Mangwa is known for serenity and peace. The village is very scenic offers a great view of Kalimpong Town along with Mt. Kanchendzonga.

Chhota Mangwa is known for production of Oranges and Dalle Khursani or Himalayan Round Chillies. It is rated between 100,000 to 350,000 SHU (Scoville Heat units) and one of the hottest chillies in the world.

Bara Mangwa, Takdah, Tinchuley are nearby and nowadays is in tourism map due to eco-tourism activities of the locals to preserve the nature and creating a sustainable mode of livelihood.

From Siliguri, Chhota Mangwa is almost 65 Kms and it is a drive of about two and half hours and from Darjeeling it is a drive of about one and half hours for a distance of about 40 Kms.
