Ramdhura

Ramdhura is a small village near Kalimpong. Ramdhura can be accessed from Kalimpong - Deolo - Munsong road. Ramdhura offers an unhindered view of Mt. Kanchendzunga, the third highest mountain of the world and the guardian deity of Eastern Himalaya. A great view of the snaking Teesta river is another attraction from Ramdhura.

Ramdhura is connected by all-weather road from Siliguri. From Siliguri the distance is about 86Kms and from Kalimpong town the distance is almost 15 kms. Although Ramdhura can be visited throughout the year but to get a majestic view of the Mt. Kanchendzunga October to April is the best time. Icchegaon, Sillarygaon, Monsong are other places of tourist interest near Ramdhura.

Many homestays have come up at Ramdhura nowadays to accommodate tourists visiting this virgin village in Eastern Himalaya
